Dead On Arrival (DOA) regulations
Warranty:
DOA warranty is valid for two hours after receipt. Please take photos or a short video of the zoanthus in a sealed bag within those two hours. Only then will you be eligible for store credit or a replacement (no refund). Shipping is always at your own risk, even for replacements.
Once the coral is placed in the aquarium, Elite Zoanthus no longer has control over its health. Therefore, the DOA guarantee automatically expires two hours after receiving the corals.
When the warranty expires:
- The package is not opened immediately upon receipt.
- Photos or videos are sent too late.
- Delivery was delayed by the carrier or by incorrect address information.
Important conditions:
- We are not responsible for delays due to weather or delivery service.
- Please keep a close eye on the delivery of your package.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Our DOA policy does not apply to delays caused by the delivery service.
- We are not responsible for incorrect acclimatization techniques or poor water parameters.
Cloudy or milky water in the packaging doesn't mean the coral is dead. This is often waste, and the coral will recover completely after a short time after such a difficult trip. Nevertheless, give the corals a chance to survive and place them in the aquarium if there is no risk of contamination or damage to your aquarium.
There are areas in Europe that cannot be delivered within 24 hours. It is your responsibility to check whether you live in such a region at https://wwwapps.ups.com/time . If you choose to have your order delivered to a region where delivery takes longer than 24 hours, we cannot be held responsible for claims or DOA.
Public holidays:
We cannot ship on Dutch national holidays. For international holidays, you are responsible for not selecting a shipment on those days. If you do choose such a date, we are not responsible for any delays or DOA if the transport takes longer than 24 hours.

Acclimatization:
Zoanthus need time to adjust. It's normal for them to behave differently for the first few hours. Do you think the animal is in poor condition and might die that same day? Please email us within two hours. We will assess your claim and make a decision on store credit or replacement within two business days.
